A Great Learning Experience Date: May 20, 2009
This is a great learning experience for both adults and children . The children are so anxious to see the butterflies emerge they do not miss an opportunity to check on them. An added bonus-the butterflies stay close to the area they hatched in so you can continue to enjoy them even after they are released. My kids are sure every painted lady butterfly they see is one they helped to hatch!

My students thoroughly enjoyed watching the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly.. great learning experience!
