Pros: Effective, Engaging, Grade Level Appropriate
The River Tank Ecosystem was easy to set up and is very simple to maintain. I bought the tank with the background already mounted in. My class enjoyed arranging the plants in the tank to provide an optimal living environment for the organisms inside. I have had no problems keeping the tank clean. I simply add a little water whenever it is low. The fish, snails, plants and filter really work effectively to keep the tank clean. The gentle waterfall sound is calming to my students. This tank will never leave my classroom!
