I have been purchasing preserved rats for my school for 6 years, but just recently tried the PerfectSolution rats. They look more natural, the chemical smell is less than that of formalin, and they have a softer texture, making them easier to cut and manipulate. The organ colors are usually good, but they sometimes have an unrealistic brownish/tan appearance. I recommend them to my colleagues as the best choice for preserved rats out there, and I buy other animal specimens in PS whenever possible.
